Sich vorbereiten

German, "to prepare oneself"

I start training for the office gig tomorrow. Sara starts hers tomorrow as well, and we've worked out a tentative schedule where she drops me off and then goes to her work and then I would wait for her to pick me up. This will change when I find out exactly what my schedule is. I may ride the bus in the afternoon home or to the office in the afternoon and she picks me up. Either way, I've got down time while traveling. So, I downloaded some podcasts on philosophy and some to refresh my German. I'd like to get fluent in German and I haven't studied it in about 10 years, after studying it in high school of 3 years, being stationed there for 2 years and then studying 2 semesters at college.

We've got a space to keep the dogs during the day outside, I hope they don't bark too much and we become disliked like our above neighbor (she had 4 dogs and they bark constantly while she's gone).
