Thank the FSM that election went well. There's a bit of hope stuck between my cynical teeth, but I'll let it chill a bit, since it feels good. It is amusing to see the wing nut reactions to this election, for a sample (the site isn't a wing-nut one, 'tis a liberal humor one):

I just got a new battery for my lap top, it's nice to be mobile again and not needing to plug in after 20 minutes.
Also, it looks as if a good Oklahoma storm is coming our way. I missed those while in DC, and am glad that one is coming shortly before we depart for Taiwan. Looking forward to the next big thing in less than a week: our flight to Taiwan.
