MINT! Chocolate interior, DR gearbox with 3.90's (Drat no 4.11 oh well) Set of J wheels, windshield, front doors with power mirrors, and one drivers rear door, hatch struts, and tilt column all acquired..

With a car attached....

Cost  60 bucks delivered.

WOOT!.. Going sand on the headliner, chocolate and black on the plastics, black seats with the red stitching.  For 250 the rear seat will be done with the same black fabric with the centre and edges in chocolate.  MINT MINT MINT chocolate carpet that I am just going to absolutely fawn over.  The two tone sand and chocolate with chrome and chocolate carpet door panels are MINT as well.

Let the build continue!

Unfortunately the motor I was going to stick in it... is in a friend car that developed a bad hole.  I have there engine sitting here waiting on the heads so I can build it.  So in that regard I am behind.

I now have all the bits save the lift, tires, rear struts, some bushings and bearings, and other little bits, and a timing kit with water pump.

Face it the entire car with a mint interior, and DR trans was worth 350 to me.. close to 550 to 600 with all the extra stuff I got.  (Spare rear end, spare front end bla bla bla).  Now since I am doing a dash swap and door swap.. I am sort of freaked.  Since I am going from the latter style door/mirror/glass combination with the triangular corner that holds the front leading edge.  This means that the mirror mounts on the door (instead of the triangle) and is moved forward 2 inches (Better visibility).   (Pictures of all this to come).  From what I can see I am going to be able to bolt this up no problem.  Electrical well read on.

Since I am going from a late style dash (1990) to a early style dash (1985) there is going to be some electrical things I am going to have to change.  I HOPE the electrical on the dash drops down to the kick panels to the door and I can add the power/heated mirrors no sweat (Since the dash has the switch in it).  But that it the tip of the ice burg.  Wiper and headlight controls are on the DASH on the pre 90 stuff and on the column on the 90 and latter.  So I am hoping I can make a plug in adaptor to run them.  This is all unknown territory stuff and I have not got out the diagrams yet.

Rest of the interior will be bolt on.  Trans is already prepared to  go into my shell car.

OH shell car is now 100 percent legal.. so I am no holes barred on the build now.  Sure it would have been nice to build the green car (the one I am getting the interior and trans from) but it does have some quarter panel rust.. the front apron is smashed, the glass one lens headlights are both cracked.. and lack of power steering sort of oh wells that idea.

So, someone buy me a EA82 4 inch lift kit from SJR.. and a set of 27.5 x 8.50 R14's  (5) for me and this build besides paint is done.

And paint is going to be allot easier with these 3 clean doors, clean hood and the rest of my body that is fair.  Need one more door.  Rear passengers.  I might know where one is for free.

There is your build report..

Woof out.

PS : the total cars I have stripped to build this thing.. is now at 4 including the shell I started with.
1990 Leone III wagon body shell
1985 Peugeot 505 sti for wheels, and some other bits.
1994 Legacy Wagon for engine, and electrical.
1985 Leone III wagon, trans, interior, steering stuff, electrical, wind shield, doors, hood, J wheels (J wheels are for.. something else that is coming).

Just wow, s all I can say.

subaru, build, leone iii
