Briley says I need to update, so here ya go:

Quickly, then, since it's already three in the morning...

Thursday: Worked from ten to three (I'm only at Subway now--I quit the other two after getting sick...), left around four and drove 4.5 hours WITHOUT A CD PLAYER to Newport News, VA. Didn't get lost, go me! Got to Briley's house at nine, dropped off my two bags and picked up Briley, and headed up to Williamsburg to see Ladislav and Martin. Well, first I picked up Rachel W., who lives nearby. Chilled with the boys at the International Village, randomly found Jarek (a super-sweet guy from Poland who also worked at Busch last year)and looked at a bunch of pictures from last summer on his laptop. Martin had dumped water on Ladislav the night before while Ladik was passed out drunk in an armchair, so that night when Martin fell asleep on a bench outside, Ladik and his friend Joey snuck up on him and duct-taped him to the bench and tried to dump a cooler of ice on him. Martin overturned the bench, broke the tape, and ran away. Craziness. Briley and I were planning to go to the Wave (a gay club in Richmond), so we left around ten thirty to take Rachel home. We ended up talking to her and playing with her adorable dog Mickey for a while. Yay for being geeks and talking about good books! After we left Rachel's we picked up Russell at his house, realized we wouldn't have time to make it to the club, and decided to get something to eat instead. We rolled up at Wendy's and gave our order to someone who said "Praise Jesus" and "Hallelujah" to everything we said. It was hilarious. I ate a LOT. We sat in the parking lot of Barnes and Noble and talked til almost three in the morning. We were all really mellow and tired. Dropped Russell off, went to Briley's, crashed.

Friday: Slept in till around twelve, ate TV dinner-things (yummy), and decided to try to get my hair cut. Drove to the wrong place, called and got correct directions, got there, waited for a while (Briley's guide dog, TJ, passed out on the floor), and then I chickened out of getting my hair cut really short (don't be mad, Briles!), and had the girl layer it around my face and thin out the back. It turned out okay, I guess. After that we went to dinner with Fiona at Ruby Tuesday's and stuffed ourselves silly. After dinner we followed Fiona to her house and chatted with her and her parents for a while. It was so much fun. They're all crazy. For those who don't know, Fiona and I lived across the street from each other in Wiesbaden, Germany, when we were in middle school. We go way back, lol. We left Fiona's and headed up 64 to Busch, where we met Russell and picked up Ladislav and Martin and took them to the Village. The boys showered and changed and a bunch of us (I think someone said 24?) loaded into four cars (actually, I think the last car had only beer--the boys said to make sure that car didn't get lost!) and we headed down to Hampton to a party at Shaun's house. It was fun. Briley had to leave early, so Russell took her home. I had offered to drive the boys (Ladik, Martin, and Jarek) back to the Village, so I stayed. I had a shot of Jaeger and Jarek made me a drink with Polish vodka and apple juice. It was really good! It was really fun to hang out with people from Busch: Brandy, Patrick, Owen, Mike, Shaun, Allison. I met some cool new people, too. Finally around four we headed back to Williamsburg. I crashed with Ladislav in his tiny twin bed. I thought he was going to fall out, but somehow we managed to squeeze in.

Saturday: In the morning I said bye to Ladislav and drove back to Briley's to shower and change before going out to lunch with her good friend Mary Beth. I washed my hair and wore it curly, which I regretted all day. I HATE having hair in my face. Grrr. We ate at Cheddars and I felt like a pimp with a girl on each arm, haha. (They're both blind). The service wasn't great, but the food was amazing and we stuffed ourselves again. Then we went to the playground across the street from Menchville HS and swung on the swings and let TJ stretch his legs. I love to swing! When we were all tired and sweaty we went to Briley's to change clothes and go to the bathroom--but we were locked out! Briley's key didn't work in the front door and a door that is usually never locked (and to which she doesn't have a key) was locked. I had to climb in through the window over the kitchen sink (more like slither and fall) to unlock the door from the inside. Quite an adventure! After we took Mary Beth home (I made them sing to me before I dropped her off. "Amazing Grace". I got goosebumps.) Briley and TJ and I went to the Noland Trails to walk and have a much-needed talk. The weather was beautiful. I swear, it's like a completely different city. It was in the mid-70s, sunny and breezy, with NO HUMIDITY. Unheard of.

After our three mile walk we returned to the house to change, picked up Pamela (yay!), and went to Applebee's for dinner. Good food, good service. They even brought us a Braille menu before we asked for one! Extra points! I called Ms. Mitchell on the way (one of my favorite teachers--US History at MHS) and we set up a lunch date for tomorrow. Briley and I are super excited to see her! We sat and listened to Pamela's crazy stories and talked and had a great time. Finally, around ten thirty I realized we needed to leave because we were planning to go to the Wave. We dropped Pamela off, snuck into Briley's house to change (I attempted to fix my unruly hair but was largely unsuccessful), and headed out the door. After calling Fiona for directions (thanks, they were great!) and picking up Briley's good friend Molly, we headed down 64 to Portsmouth. I am falling asleep so I'd better wrap this up. We made it there fine, got inside, and were disappointed by the really sucky music they played. So annoying. We danced a little, then looked for a table to sit down. Our butts had barely touched the benches when this guy stumbles over, stares at us, and sits down. He tells us his name is Tyler and that his friend, who is gay, brought him there and then left him. "This is my first time in a gay club. It's too much," he kept saying. He was clearly overwhelmed, poor boy. We all felt sorry for him until we went to go dance and he found us and practically molested Molly. I switched places with her (I had been dancing with Briley) and after a few more minutes we left. It was SO hot in there, and packed with gay black guys. I've never seen so many in my life! We blasted the radio with the windows down on the way back. I dropped off Molly and drove us home and started writing this.

Okay, I'm going to bed. I'll try to update again tomorrow night; we'll see what happens. Sorry for the horrendous grammar. Maybe I'll do a cut tomorrow--I know this is huge. I'm too worn out to figure it out right now, though. Sleep well, y'all.
