wow, look at me go...
So I have to clean my room and bathroom, pack, and download loads of stuff from my computer onto CDs... and instead I'm updating my LJ... go me.
Here's a quick recap of the activities of the past week or two, otherwise known as the continuing downward spiral of "sweet little Megan." Hahaha.
--um... actually this is kind of classified. Let's just call it "festivities with the team." Ha. I didn't drink, though.
--Naked Run! (you'll have to see me in person for this story)
--went to the Gathering Spot and Tiki Bobs, sober--I really think I might have enjoyed it more if I had been intoxicated... For those who aren't in town, those are clubs/bars in downtown Greenville. A band called The Nod (I think?) was at the G-spot--they were really loud, but really good. Tiki Bobs was quite an experience. Dark, loud, hot, CROWDED... a sketchy black guy danced with me but I ran away when he grabbed my butt really hard. Eek. I hid behind a football player I know from track. He's a sweetheart.
--went to two parties this past Wednesday, got good and tipsy (I was NOT drunk, Mandy!), and both parties got busted by the police. It was not fun. Super scary. The first (on campus) for alcohol, but luckily FUPO was merciful and didn't write anyone up. At the second party three people got arrested for weed and serving alcohol to minors. I was really really scared... -shudder- Never going back there again.
So... one of my friends thinks I'm sliding downhill into moral bankruptcy or something. Kind of funny. And Whitney wants me to go to parties and get drunk this summer. I'm definitely not getting drunk! Ever, if I can help it.
Last night I walked around campus with one of my new friends and we talked for like two hours. It's really nice to know someone else here I can talk to and not have to be careful about what I say. She alarmed me by saying that sometimes I say things that are really gay. Eek.
Well, I need to go; Mom and Kelsey are coming today and I'm leaving for a wedding that I do not have time to go to in an hour.... ack.... Later. Maybe much later, because I don't know if we'll have a computer at home and it might be a while before I can get back to this.
