Basically, this is site makes a contract where you bet on yourself. Let's say you want to lose x pounds. You decided you want to bet say $100 each week that you will lose a pound. If you lose it, you get to keep your 100. If you don't, your money is automatically donated to either a charity or anti-charity. You have to give the entire money at stake at the beginning, and you get back everything that wasn't donated on failed weeks.
If I do this, I want to donate my money to an anti gay marriage group. Double incentive - not lose money, not give money to an evil group.
I am seriously considering doing this. Before I put that kind of money down on this online contract, I was wondering what you think. Please comment and let me know if this is crazy or not. Thanks.
