50 books in '07
I have approximately an hour of reading per day due to my commute. In Chicago, I used to use my commute time to listen to NPR. Now I listen to far less NPR, but I read a ton.
So in 2007, I am planning to read 50 books. So far I have read:
1. Running with Scissors, Augusten Burroughs
2. Vanishing Act, Jodi Piccoult
3. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Jonathan Safran Foer (TERRIBLE, please don't waste your money)
4. Bait and Switch, Barbara Ehrenreich
5. Survivor, Chuck Palahniuk
6. The Truth, Al Franken
7. Class Matters, correspondents from the New York Times
8. Blindess, Jose Saramago
I also have bought a few books by Jodi Piccoult (trash easy read but enjoyable) Chuck Palahniuk, Barack Obama's first book...
What other books do you recommend? I need help here to get to 50. Thanks in advance!
