If I were in junior high/high school, I'd have Richard Woolsey's name scribbled all over my notebook, surrounded in millions of ♥s. It's borderline ridiculous how much I love him being in charge.

Re: Woolsey's decision on blowing the place up.

I'm not saying they shouldn't have blown up the lab. I do think destroying/dismantling that thing was the only option with the danger presented. What I mean is there was absolutely no need to blow it up RIGHT NOW, all of the things it might have that could help the expedition in the future be damned! They could have fixed the Daedelus systems in orbit, send a team to strip the place bare while the repairs are going on--and if the Rogue Asgard show back up, beam everyone out and blow it sky high THEN. In the first episode, it was stated that the facility was drawing massive amounts of power, which is something the expedition is always in need of--wouldn't it make sense to maybe figure that out? Grab some spare parts? Get the notes from the system? I don't know, I liked it, but it felt a tad overkill since there was no immediate danger, and a definite waste of resources that could be put to good use.

Ah--you do have a point there! Yes, maybe they should have looted the lab first!
