GARF starts this weekend!!
As I opened this journal to post an announcement about GARF starting this weekend, my oh-so-friendly Firefox browser asked if I would like to start from my previous draft which reads as follows:
There is one weekend left of the Georgia Renaissance Festival. So far I have seen maybe two dozen fellow con-goers. That's just the ones I recognized. There is a much larger cross-over I'm sure.
One of my favorite events at the Ren Faire is the pub sing they have at the end of each day. Friends and strangers gathering together to sing the songs everyone knows or just hum along if they don't know the words.
I guess this makes my lurker status official.
But putting all that aside, the first half of Saturday looks like it should be a nice day. I am looking forward to seeing all of the familiar faces and hopefully lots of new ones! I understand there have been a few cast changes. I haven't kept up with the details though, so that should offer a few more surprises. After this weekend I will probably be at the festival most Sundays, so look me up and say, 'Hi', if you're of a mind to do so.
