Late-October course correction
When my boss said I had to use my vacation "by November", I thought he meant the start of November. He actually meant the end. I am so fuzzy on dates I cannot even remember when I started working here :p He gave me the extra incentive I needed though to actually take a week-long vacation. The weekend spent gaming in ATL and the weekend spent at CRF were also good.
I have one more trip to the Carolina Renaissance Festival planned the weekend of Nov 8. Instead of taking off every Friday in October as planned, I am holding off on my last day of vacation until then.
Last year the weather stayed pretty warm through the start of November. This year it will probably be very cool--in the mornings at least. Still looking forward to spending a day with pleasuregelf and the crew of her pirate ship though. The Wenches and Rogues guilds will also be on board for their annual invasion. It should be a fun weekend.
