Game Theory by LithiumDoll. The cast of N3mbers is convinced a serial killer is operating in Seacouver, what with the constant beheadings and all. Methos, Duncan and Joe have to stay on their toes to avoid the FBI while simultaneously keeping their heads. Most crossovers exist to get characters in bed with each other, or at the very least to show that one character could totally kick another one's ass. In contrast, the fun of this story lies in watching logic and law enforcement procedure come face to face with the supernatural workings of the Highlander universe. I really enjoyed this story until the end--there's very little resolution. Still an enjoyable read!

Seven Sunday Mother-Daughter Mornings by hradzka. A haunting, bittersweet tale of Savannah Weaver's complicated relationship with her mother. '"I know we don't talk about this," said Savannah. "That was fine. But things are different now."' A really fantastic look inside the Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles universe.

Lipsticks by Kate Bolin. Five ways Cordelia's life could have gone, using different brands of lipstick as a framing device.

Eros, Philia, Agape by Rachel Swirsky. Original fiction. A rich woman creates the perfect companion. They have a child together. He is happy...but it is a constructed happiness. This is the tale of an android seeking a true personality. Despite the decades-long trope it feels fresh, rich in sensory details and world building.
