So...it's a blogging service. At least, it doesn't do anything that Blogger, MySpace, Twitter, Fcaebook, LJ, and all the rest don't already do.

It's a blogging service, but it's slightly different in that it's mostly geared toward images, and most of what gets posted on Tumblr is just re-blogged or shared content from someone else's Tumblr.
