Still anxiously awaiting my copy of "Two Worlds and In Between". I think I'm giving the mailman heart troubles the way I enthusiastically fling open the door before he's even left the porch.

My husband and I both noted how smart Beavis and Butt-head sound in comparison when they're talking about Jersey Shore. I'm so glad they're back. The world of modern television really needs them for balance.

As for the Stephenie Meyers quotes in that article, wow. "Yuck"??? Some wordsmith she is!

In my little village, some of the amateur radio operators stake out the overpasses on Halloween just to keep an eye out for idiot pumpkin tossers. I guess there have been some kids in years past, who stole pumpkins from porches long after bedtime, then went to chuck them from the overpasses down into traffic on the turnpike. Idiots. We had our pumpkins stolen one year, but I thought I recognized their remains on the street just a block down. Usually the squirrels just crawl inside and gnaw what they can until I put them in the compost pile. Though I did really like the photos of your pumpkin floating downstream a year back or so, and have always wanted to give mine such a nice send-off.

I begin to fear the book is so heavy UPS (or whoever) are refusing to deliver it.

Yep.

Ain't she, though.

That is so cool.

Can't do that, not when someone steals my pumpkin. Like last year.
