"This army has so many hands. Are you one of us?"

I'm not even gonna talk about the insomnia. The attention just encourages it.

Finally, a good fucking writing day yesterday. I did 1,426 words on my piece (I'm not sure it has a title yet) for the The Thackery T. Lambshead Cabinet of Curiosities. At this point, I'm only about 5,000 words behind for September.

I'm not sure I have anything else to say today.

In one week, Providence seems to have gone from summer to autumn. Outside, it's 64F and cloudy. You know, like June in Providence.

Please have a look at the current eBay auctions.

Someone had to explain to me yesterday what "Oh snap" is meant to signify (I won't say "mean"). And I just looked it up online. And I still think the expression's dumb as hell. And this isn't just one of those "kids these days" things. There are lots of idiotic turns of phrase from the 70s and 80s and 90s I always refused to use.

These are random thoughts. Feel free to jump right in.

This isn't funny anymore.

weather, rhode island, not enough sleep, autumn, language, writing
