Memories of a Lousy Day (Plus Sméagol)

Yesterday was just shy of a total loss. I was hit hard by the chronic stomach ailment I've had most of my life. I tried to write anyway. I wrote 344 words for of my piece for The Thackery T. Lambshead Cabinet of Curiosities, before I was too sick to think straight enough to write anymore. Then I went back to bed. Later, I made it through dinner and ( Read more... )

My stomach used to hurt so bad all the time until I bacame a vegetarian. I know Kurt Cobain, Keats and Edna St. Vincient Millay had chronic stomach pains. Millay had the most trouble while in Europe from eating lots of cheap fried foods. But maybe your problem is different all together.
Anyway, my sister started experiencing unexplainable siezures about 6 years ago when our grandma was murdered. So they guess it has something to do with the traumatic stress.
Also I was wondering, if before you wrote "The Red Tree" did you ever hear the song by My Brightest Diamond called "We Were Sparkling". Cause she sings of a tree down by a river where they would use thread to hang empty bottles of wine, pieces of glass, feathers and.. whatever else she says.

It has nothing to do with eating meat. I actually tried vegetarianism a few years ago, and it got worse.

I've never heard it, but now I'll have to find it.

This may or may not be useful information, but it is better to have it than not to: I know someone who developed seizures as the result of celiac disease, which can also cause digestive problems and all sorts of utterly random-seeming health effects.

We know the causes of both the seizures and the digestive difficulties. They're unrelated, and neither stems from cellac disease. But thanks.

Awesome photos :)

And "Slow Burn" is one of the greatest songs ever, especially given the current weather/season.

It's one of my favorite by Bowie, and that's saying a lot.

You also now have David Bowie with wolves. (In case you've never seen those shots. rm had cause to post them.)
