2. My great thanks to Ellen (ellen_datlow) and everyone at the Montauk Club in Brooklyn for one of the most thoroughly pleasant readings I've ever been a part of, ever. We read in the old library (the building was erected in 1890), by candlelight. It was magical ( Read more... )

Sounds great. Skinflint that I am, I would have taken a commuter rail to Boston and then the Chinatown bus to save money.

The Providence-Boston-Chinatown bus thing takes more than eight hours, each way. The Peter Pan bus to NYC is not so bad - direct, 3.5 hours, they order people to not use cell phones - but is still about the same price as above, gas and train, or even a little more
