Well, we know what they say about good intentions and all...
It's a shame that far too often, people become hooked on some form of religious practice (speaking of addictions) as a means of giving themselves some guideline with which to be smug, pious, and self-righteous.

You know what, I admire you for writing this. So many people who depend on 'fans' would take the diplomatic route and not say anything, but it takes stones to say it like you feel it.

And I completely agree with you. It's almost creepy to think that someone believes they have that much power over you, and the right to exert it.
