The weather turned yesterday. The sun brought cold weather with its return, something nearer to what the Decembers in Birmingham used to feel like. Yesterday, the high was 54F, and today's was 55F, after a nightly low of 32F. Sunny. Windy.
Just got some good news from my agent, money from Italy and Germany, so we won't have to eat the cats.
After a wretched night fighting my wretched innards and my wretched nightmares, I got up at 6 a.m. and wrote...some. I'll say more tomorrow, maybe. Something for Sirenia Digest 224. The most recently unfinished chapter of The Night Watchers is feeling very pleased with itself, the way it finally made me say "uncle" and set it aside.

Yesterday afternoon's film was Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok (2017), my favorite of the Thor films. Today it was Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), which I'd not seen and which was also a lot of fun, though I could have stood less Guns and Roses - but to each their own. Long sentence, poorly composed.
