Warm today. Sunny. Our high was 91.8F, with a heat index of 95F.
I don't think I've had a good night of sleep in over a week now. I lay awake for close to an hour between five and six, just petting Blixa and listening to him purr. I finally got up at six and went to work. I dod another 1,054 words on the novella/chapbook, but....I'm not sure it worked. The sleep deprivation is beginning to affect the quality of my work.
This afternoon, documentaries, one on Egyptian hieroglyphics, one on Hubert Humphrey, one Nero.
Diversity.
There was a shooting last night at Five Points, over the mountian in Birmingham, that made national news.
