"I am not our father."

Sunny today. A high of 89F, with a heat index of 91F.

Despite another night of insomnia, I did get up and write another scene for the chapbook/novella another 1,002 words. But I think it won't but finished until Sunday. I also looked over page proofs for an Ellen Datlow anthology and dealt with last minute buisness of an Italian translation rights contract via Writers House. So, a busy day.

At least the coyotes were either quiet or at the other end of the valley last night.

I finished reading S.E. Hinton's Tex and began Taming the Star Runner. The afternoon's movie was J.J. Abrams' Star Trek (2009).

And I see that Jill Stein is back to boost the Horror Clown's chances of a second term, giving him a small edge against the Democrats. Again. Yes, this is serious.

THe Rent Party continues, because at sixty I truly am in no kinda shape to be living on the street. Please visit the shop. Books and shirts and stuff. I will sign and personalize anything. You are welcome, and thank you.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
