"I'll take your part when darkness comes And pain is all around..."

Yeah, Simon and Garfunkel have been in my head of late.

Ah, like the girl said, I don't like Mondays. But not as much as I hate Sundays. So, there's that. Sunny today, and our high was 93.9F, with a heat index of 100F.

Today was spent mostly on MP2, and yeah, I need to be working on The Sun Always Shines on TV, but I've just about found my way back into the language of the comparitive anatomist and paleobiologist, which I have not worked with since the MP1, piblished last Octobe. and I am afraid of losing it again. But yeah, the novella. I have to have it finished in about two weeks. Maybe a little more than that. No pressure. It is going to be a much stranger story that was Living a Boy's Adventure Tale, as it imagines the consequences of time-travel gone wrong (see the end of Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder" (1952) but much bigger and much weirder.

You know, I never plug snack food here, because we really don't by it. But Spooky foun something nigh unto magical: Pepperidge Farms' Spicy Dill Pickle Goldfish (photi below). You just gotta trust me. These things are wicked good (as they say in Boston). Just the right balanced of salt and heat and sour.

Tonight we saw the seaon finale of House of the Dragon. I liked Season One, though it obviously had some rough spots and was finding its feet. Game of Thrones hit the ground running, and I think a lot of people expected that, so were impateint (which is a shame). Anyway, Season Two I loved. It is marelous. But man, that last episode. I'll be on the edge of my seat for a year now!

There's the shop. Please visit it. Thanks. Money is about to become a very serious problem around here again.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
