Last night we finally had a look at the AMC Interview With the Vampire series. I went in with few expectations, one way or the other. And I loved the first two episodes. Really, truly wonderful stuff. The third episode isn't uite as good, but still very decent. And then...Claudia is introduced in the fourth episode

I feel like the open ended nature of television makes a character like Claudia hard to pull off. You can cast a very young actress for a movie, but you can't really do that for multiple seasons of a TV show produced over years. They're going to visibly age. So the character needs to be aged up, which in turn ruins the conceit.
