Thirty-Five Years Ago Today....

Feb 24, 2024 17:56

Sunny and cooler today. Our high was 66F.

Maybe four hours sleep last night. And the closest thing to actual work I managed today was talking with Bill Schafer at SubPress about whether he'd prefer I first finish work on The Night Watchers or if I should wrap up this with the next short fiction collection (and it's accompanying new novella) first before returning to the novel. The answer was the latter.

I actually fell asleep about an hour ago and dozed in my office chair....

My mouth continues its slow healing.

Thirty-five years ago today the very first episode of Twin Peaks premiered.

Today I watched two documentaries, the David Attenorough Nature about the new pliosaur skull from Kimmerixdge Bay and a Nova about cetacean evoluion.

Please visit the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop. How about a copy of the limited edition of Tales from the Woeful Platypus PLUS one of Spooky's handmade beanie platpuses? Or a tie-dyed Eeyore shirt? There's something there for...well, lots of people. Probably.

And I'll remind you again of Spooky's Dreaming Squid GoFundMe. Just follow the link.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
