"She's not human."

Well, the weather was nice, at least. A mix of sun and clouds; a high of 82F.

Some day's just go to shit, no matter how good my intentions, no matter how determined I might be to get things done. Last night, sometime around 1 a.m. (I think), the power went out. Which wouldn't have been a big deal, had I slept through it, but...well...I didn't. And the whole valley was dark as pitch, the sorta dark you can still get around here during a major power failure. I had woke to that utter darkness, then had trouble getting back to sleep. At some point, I woke again, briefly, and the power was back on. But when we got up this morning, turns out the moden was fried, no internet, and...the inabiity to get online, Kathryn's having to track down the new modem, etc., etc., led to me not working. Which sucked, because things have been going well. Yesterday was nice.

Anyway...

Today's movie was Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Alien: Resurrection (1997).

Late yesterday, the copy of Tales from the Woeful Platypus, with the chapbook and beanie platypus sold, so...thank, Dr. Funk Nasty. Much appreciated. And we sold an A is for Alien. So that's another way yesterday was nice. A little less worry here about the taxes. But...we're not quite across the finish line yet, and there's still cool stuff in the shop, including a new shirt by Kathryn that I adore. So, have a peep.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
