Yeah, so. Utterly irritating excuse for a day. And hot. A heat advisory. Our high was 95F, with a heat index of 102F.
And yet, I forced myself to go outside for the fifth consecutive day.
I spent the mroning trying to make substantial progress on "Mons Niloticus." This is one of those stories i thought would come quick and easy, and I was wrong. I added only 579 words (after reworking a lot of what had already been written).
And there were other irritating things, but I think I'm not even going to get into them. Fuck it.

The afternoon's film was the three hour and six minute director's cut of Zack Snyder's The Watchmen (2009), which I still think is a brilliant film.
