Nice weather today. Mostly sunny. A high of 85F, with a heat index of 86F.
This morning I set out to get through all the line edits on The Night Watchers and only made it through the first half of them. So, I have to finish that tomorrow. And I have a final set of Bradbury Weather line edit/questions from SubPress (but only a few). And...frankly, I just want to set everything aside and write story for Sirenia Digest.
The afternoon's film was J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). There's a lot wrong with this film, but it also has the most epic lightsaber battle ever, Rey and Kylo amid the ruins of the Death Star...in the fucking ocean.
I started reading The Zoologist's Guide to the Galaxy: What Animals on Earth Reveal About Aliens - and Ourselves by Arik Kershenbaum.
How can someone be 59 years old and also feel like a work in progress?
Thanks, Z.
Anyway...
Please visit that
shop of ours. Spooky's going to be getting some new stuff up, like the very Halloween-ish tie-dye pictured below.
