Cormac McCarthy has died at 83. The greatest novelist of the 20th and early 21st Century, and he's gone.
Which leaves me in no mood to gloat about Trump's arraignment.
I might have other things to say today, but I have no idea what they were. They hardly matter. Oh, I started Dorothy Allson's Bastard Out of Carolina, which I have somehow never read.
I watched Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982), the "final cut" (2007). Still very probably the greatest science-fiction film ever made.
