Overcast and cooler today. Our high was 69˚F. Storms expected tomorrow.
Sirenia Digest No. 104 will hopefully go out to subscribers this evening. I'm just waiting to get the PDF, and then Spooky will send it off to you.
Mike P. called today, and we discussed a very particular mosasaur taxonomic problem, which I will be working on over the next few days. While I also try to get the next short short started.
I had a much, much, much better blog entry in my head earlier, but I'm tired and now this is coming out a bit thin and disorganized.
Star Wars week continued with J.J. Abrams' The Rise of the Skywalker (2019). Finally John Boyega feels like he's in the same film as everyone else, but then Rose all but vanishes from the plot for reasons yet to be explained to me. I do confess some part of me was deeply disappointed that Rey and Kylo Ren didn't fall to the Dark Side. It would have been much sexier.
I read "A sauropod from the Lower Jurassic La Quinta Formation (Dept. Cesar, Colombia) and the initial diversification of eusauropods at low latitudes."
God, what a meandering entry. I'll do better tomorrow, promise. Meanwhile, please,
go buy a book. thanks.
