A very cold day, though we have colder in store. Our low last night was 28˚F, our high today was 45˚F.
This morning, despite oversleeping until 8 a.m., I managed to write 1,176 words and finish "Passage of Venus in Front of the Sun." It will appear in Sirenia Digest 201, which I hope will go out to subscribers late tomorrow.
Very pleased with the results on the January 6th Select Committee, and hopefully some actual prosecution will follow the committee's recommendations to the DoJ.
We've been working our way through The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel again, in anticipation the fifth and final season, which is not too far off now. Last night, we finished Season Three. Also, we saw the first two episodes of John Hillcoat's George and Tammy, with Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain in the title roles. It's quite good.
The afternoon's comfort film was Tarantino's Once Upon a Time Ago...in Hollywood (2019). And I got back to my "December of Lovecraft" with "The Horror at Red Hook" and "The Thing on the Doorstep."
