"Mars will come to fear my botany powers." (50)

Sunny today. We're in for some warmer weather this week. Our high today was 87˚F, with a heat index of 89˚F.

And you know one reason I haven't been proofing the (previously proofed on multiple occasions) novellas in Bradbury Weather. Well, last night I was ill and I only slept about 3 hours. I woke this morning. I was supposed to work on the phylogenetics section of MP2, then spend the afternoon at McWane doing some work for Jun. Instead, I was so groggy and unable to think, I decided, fuck it, I'll proof "A Barrenness of Daffodils, a Lerna of Ills." Yeah, that isn't really necessary, but what the hell. It's better than sitting here drooling. Well...I spent the next four hours, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. proofreading again the story and then dealing with the new set of line edits. And that is why I was avoiding the novellas.

Meanwhile, Facebook threatened to deactivate my account and banish me for an anti-Trump, anti-fascist post. More on that later.

The afternoon's movie was Ridley Scott's The Martain, because I needed something to remind me the human race is more than a steaming pile of horseshit, that we can do magnificent things.

I thought I had more, but...three hours of sleep, remember? Oh...I also did some work on Winifred. And turn in my piece on Peter.

LAST WARNING: Tonight or tomorrow morning, those three issues of Sirenia Digest that contain the serialization of Living a Boy's Adventure Tale (Nos. 97, 98, 99) will be removed from the Big Cartel shop. So do not say you were not warned.

Later Tater Beans,
