Sunny and vaguely autumnal today. Our high was 81˚F.
This morning I proofed and edited "Ballad of a Catamite Revolver" (while Spooky took the truck to the garage). I truly think this is one of my better stories from that last decade. I skipped over the novella A Barreness of Daffodils, a Lerna of Ills, because it was proofed and edited fairly recently. It is, also, I think, one of the best things I written recently. I'm getting near to the end of the ms. for Bradbury Weather, which I can hardly believe.
Not a good day, but not quite as bad as yesterday.
So, yeah, Spooky took the truck in, and it's gonna cost us $2,500 in repairs, and taxes are looming, SO - yes, there will be a major combo
Big Cartel and eBay sale to try and cover the tax portion, at least. Or at least a third of the taxes. Whatever we can manage. I will keep you posted. This will happen very soon. I know we're going to offer one of the ultra-rare Centipede Press editions of Houses Under the Sea: Mythos Tales on eBay.
Tomorrow morning I'm probably gonna get serious about Photoshop and all the figures for MP2. I hope I can get all that done in the space of a week.
The afternoon's movie was Gareth Edwards's Rogue One (2016), which really is either the best or second best of all Star Wars films. Only The Empire Strikes Back gives it a run for its money.
I think that's all for now.
Later Tater Beans,
