"...about the world ending and the scale of my ambition..."

May 23, 2022 16:51

A rainy day, with some glimpses of sunlight. Our high was 78˚F, with a heat index of 80˚F.

I was working by 8 a.m. this morning and spent four hours reading through all of "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale," start to finish. Lots of line edits to attend to and a few minor continuity errors, but I am really happy with this story. After the proofreading, I signed signature sheets for the limited edition of Steve Jones' Best New Horror Volume 31. I also got through my email, so...a very productive day.

The afternoon's film was J.J. Abrams' Star Trek (2009).

Please have a look at the Big Cartel shop. Thanks.

My hope is that as soon as I'm done polishing "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale," I can (mostly) set my fiction aside for a couple of weeks and concentrate on nothing but MP1 to try and pull together a first draft of the ms., which I should have done by now. And then go back to work on the digest late in June and get issues 197, 198, and 199 out ASAP.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
