Hot today. Our high, again, was 92˚F, but this time with a heat index of 95˚F.

Only four and a half hours sleep last night. I woke at 5 a.m. At 7, I got back to work on "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale," and I wrote the last scene, 1,538 words. That brings the total word count to 19,097 words, and most of it was written over the past twelve days. The story's a fairly straightforward homage to one of my favorite Ray Bradbury stories, "A Sound of Thunder" (1952). I'm very happy with this one, but it has left me exhausted.

Last night, we started watching J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek in Night Sky, and we're enjoying it a lot.

Good RP last night.

There's something NEW up in the Big Cartel shop, a couple of copies of the ARC of The Variegated Alphabet, which are kinda rare. Plus, these copies, I'll sign, personalize, and draw a monster doodle in, which will make them each unique.
