"A house on fire, or the rising sea? Why is the night so still?"

Another fine spring day. Still a little chilly for my tastes, a few clouds, but mostly sun. There's real warmth on it's way for the start of next week. Today's high was 65˚F, the current temperature.

I actually had a very, very productive day. I started writing at 7:30 a.m. and did 1,575 (!) more words on "Night Fishing," along with a bunch of line edits. I think I will likely finish the story tomorrow. Then I answered some email. Then I gave Winifred the first real love she's gotten in a couple of weeks, and I made some decent progress on that block with the posterior portion of the left mandible. I should have done some work on one of the mosasaur papers when I was done with "Night Fishing," but I wanted to get my hands dirty.

The afternoon's movie was David Leitch's Atomic Blonde (2017).

The Big Cartel shop is off to a good start. We sold two copies of Sirenia Digest: Year One in the first twenty-four hours. Oh, by the way, it's 12/05-11/06, not 12/05-12/06; I misspoke yesterday.

Later Tater Beans,
