"The sky is breaking open; we keep hoping in the distance we'll see a glow."

A bright and sunny spring day, after a stormy night and an overcast morning. Our high was 67˚F, and it is now 64˚F.

I'm better. Another couple of days I should be back to "baseline."

I got a decent amount of work done this morning and early afternoon, on several fronts. Up at 7 a.m., and I read over everything there is so far of "Night Fishing." I like what I've done so far, and I'll get back to that tomorrow. I exchanged emails with my lit agent. I sent SubPress a prospective Table of Contents for a TBA. I dusted off the plioplatecarpine mosasaur work, which has suffered neglect the last two or three weeks.

The afternoon's movie was Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises (2012). I might be in the minority, but I think Anne Hathaway's is one of the best portrayals of Selina Kyle ever.

Oh, and here's this photo of Spooky weighing a clearly distressed Lydia (21 lbs., if you can believe it).

Later Tater Beans,
