"Mary says he changes his mind more than a woman."

Another coolish, sunny day. We only made it to 71˚F, but the windchill made it feel more like 51˚F.

Spooky took me to the botanical gardens, but we didn't stay long because there were a lot of people and neither of us had dressed for the breeze. But we looked the the roses and saw turtles and tadpoles. It was my first trip to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens since my self isolation began last March.

Most of yesterday was spent tending to all the line edits in "Two Monsters Walk Into a Bar" and "The Man Who Loved What Was," then laying out Sirenia Digest Nos. 183 and 174. I sent the files away to Gordon Duke, he got them back to me in only a couple of hours, and Spooky sent them to our subscribers. That was work yesterday.

This morning, it came to my attention that my nephew, who lives with my mother, has not been vaccinated, because he's a conspiracy nut. Which is putting my mother at risk. And Kathryn and I are pissed (I am fucking livid), but have no idea what to do about it. You cannot reason with that sort stupid. And yeah, right now I am being nice and not naming your name. That might change. Grow up.

Oh, and I talked to one of my agents about the cover art for The Ammonite Violin & Others audiobook.
