Sunny today, but that unseasonable chill lingers in the air. We only made it to 70˚F, and it is currently 52˚F.
Now that I sit down to make this entry, I realize there was nothing about today that warrants setting down. I'm trying to decide what to read next. Tomorrow morning I'll let myself open the package from Tor.com.
We watched a disappointing Irish horror film, Neasa Hardiman's Sea Fever (2019). A reviewer at the New York Times said that Sea Fever "...seems unsure about its own shape, switching indecisively between creature feature, epidemic thriller, and environmental drama without articulating any meaty ideas," and I agree. Anyway, then we started Mad Men again.
And as of tonight, the ADPH has confirmed 4,404 cases in Alabama, with 634 cases in Jefferson County and 242 in Shelby County.
