Howard Hughes and the Great Indoors

Oct 10, 2017 11:38

Sunny, with only a few clouds. Currently, it's 76˚F. I have not left the house since October 1st. I'm going to try and remedy that today.

Yesterday, I tried to write an introduction for Silk. I made it a page and a half, and then I locked up. And I don't have time for that sort of thing. I'm just no longer interested - and maybe not able - to write about my fiction in any truly meaningful way. That's why there's no author's introduction in Beneath an Oil-Dark Sea. The Centipede Press edition may also come without an author's introduction. Yesterday, I also read an R.A. Lafferty story I'd promised to write a short (500 word) thing on. I can do that. I can still sorta talk about other people's work. On good days.

Last night, Spooky made a marvelous meatloaf, and we watched the new Halt and Catch Fire. And later, I roleplayed.

TTFN,
Aunt Beast
