We've averted the forecast blizzard, and now we're only looking at 6 to 10" of snow today. It's a wet, nasty sort of snow, because we're very near the boundary where the snow changes over to freezing rain and ice. I much prefer the colder, drier stuff. Currently, it's 31˚F, with the windchill at 18˚F.
I woke at eight and was unable to get back to sleep. I read for about an hour and a half. Spooky got up, and I made what was for me an oddly conventional breakfast - a fried egg (sunny-side up), grits, sausage patties, and toast. I'm still not really awake.
I have to find a story today, but I also have a very important phone call coming in at 3 p.m.
If you have not yet ordered
Dear Sweet Filthy World, please do so soon. The book will be out on March 31st. Amazon is offering a pretty hefty discount.
All the days are the same. They're just spelled differently.
