A couple of days ago you were talking about how Interstate Lovesong is sort of a western and it got me thinking about the novel Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry and how much westerns are ingrained into the American sensibility of what makes a good story, even though most of us Americans don't realize it. I read Lonesome Dove when I was in jail decades ago because there was nothing else to read, and I was surprised at how much I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really like the hair cut.
