So, yesterday I ventured out into the bitter cold. And it was bitter. Warmer, I am told, that the preceding days. Which is terrifying. I was outside for a total of one hour and six minutes, which means that I've spent 0.51% of the past 13 days outside. Go me. We went to the mall downtown, and I got a copy of Jacob's Ladder used and Guardians of the Galaxy on Blu-ray. We encountered two escalators and an elevator that were out of order. The day was grey and ugly and snow scabbed, just like today. Here are two images, which pretty much perfectly sum up the day:
"There's a story here," I said to Spooky.
Me, I'm in love with Hang Me High Elmo.

I also proofread "Galápagos," which took about an hour and a half. Today, I need to plow through at least three stories.
