"I'm perfectly able to hold my own hand..."

The sky is a murderous shade of blue, and it's cold. But at least I don't live in those places hammered by lake affect show. Small consolations.

I am terribly, terribly homesick.

Homicidal blue®. It ought to be in the big Crayola box.

There's been work, but no actual writing to speak of since I finished the second chapter of Alabaster: The Good ( Read more... )

murderous blue, isobel siany snow, alabama, not writing, reading, isolation, "the green abyss", alabaster, game of thrones, home

I'm gonna write the long entry about the death of Isobel Snow that I've been meaning to write since I allowed her to die, way back on September 30th.

Oh, I liked Isobel. Are you still playing The Secret World? I haven't been playing anything but chess for the past few months but I did log into The Secret World a few times.

After Isobel's death, and a funeral service in game that...I cried, a lot, and lots of other people cried a lot...I took a couple of months off from RP. But started leveling a new character. I'm going back to RP next week.

Homesick.

I wouldn't say I'm homesick for Detroit -- it's more a need to feel reassured in the path that brought me to Twin Peaks and why it's likely where I may find my final resting place.

Distracted by the Window.

I covered mine up to try to curb the distraction. I logged out of social media. I said fuck it and opened up the drapes and checked Twitter. The failure of the page -- sometimes it's too great. Yet, I sit back down each day and try.

I watched the entire season 4 of Game of Thrones in one weekend when Verizon graced us with free HBO. Lots of pot and beer. Salty snacks. Loved it. Awesome and brutal.
Just finished the new short story collection by Andrew Vachss. Hit and miss but I liked it. Also watched ABC's of Death 2. Hit and miss.I love that there are people/artists out there who are not quite right in the head. Yay!
