Tomorrow we head back to Providence, another long ride on the Crescent Line. I just wanted to post something short this afternoon. I thought, very much, that today I'd be ready to head back, and I'm surprised to find that I'm not. I thought, very much, that today I'd be ready to head back, and I'm surprised to find that I'm not. The sun, the sky, the heat, the clouds, the quality of light, the trees, the mountains - modest Appalachian foothills though they are - all are conspiring to make me wish I could stay.

I think the gods are against you. This might be the hottest day this year in this area. Enjoy it while you can, everything is transitory. If you are causing the cold weather, stay away a week more. I have been jiggling the instructions in some tomatoes for the past decade, and I need the heat to get bumper crop of seeds. Maybe if things work this year I'll send you a sample. Have great time.

Ya, they fired all the teachers at my old school in Central Falls, RI. What, they turned your school into a YMCA or somethin'? lol

How do you make that long hyphen, like after "they are-"? Only know the short one.
