Yeah for you! I have 9 tats(1 in the place you are getting yours), so I will try to answer some of your questions. No color hurts more than another. Some might say that the black hurt more because they usually do the outline first, which is almost always black. At a certain point you become a little more numb, which would most likely be later on in. Everyone is different for the pain, I have went with plenty of people and seen such a range. My mom, sister, and I went and got matching tats in the same place, and I was the biggest wimp of the 3 of us, and that is thier only one. But for me on my lower back, what hurt was on the backbone, and out at the sides, by the tender, almost ticklish parts. The rest, inbetween thoughs two places, wasn't so bad as far as tats go. They may fad a little more there because of your clothes rubbing on the skin, but there are other places that that would be more of an issue. The way the costs work is it is by the hour based on a rate set by the artist (usually the more the expirience the higher the rate.) Wow, I am not sure how that got so long.
