He raises an eyebrow. "That is an attraction I have trouble understanding, depending on the sort of pain you're talking about."

She shrugs a little. "Do we have to understand something to accept that it's a part of someone's life?"

"No, we don't. I wouldn't presume to dictate how others should live their lives."

"You'll get in fewer arguments then. How's Iva?"

He chuckles. "Iva is well. Crawling all over the house.

How are you doing? How is your household?"

"We're well. Things have been quiet."

[greyfireson]

"Quiet in a good way?"

[vicioussweetie]

"Yes, in a good way. I'm helping a friend try to find a new place to live. It's been fun. Tiring, but fun."

"Looking at the different possibilities is certainly enjoyable."
