An open letter to the city of Rochester, NY.
Inspired by the 11pm news last night.

Dear Rochester,

I will make this short and sweet. You are not and will never be as important as New York City. There are people in New York City that don't even know where you are in relation to themselves. The governor doesn't care about you. You won't get any more money than you already have because you have next to nothing to offer the civilized world.

You are not user friendly and there is nothing to do, ever. This is why you will never be important. Also, please stop referring to NYC as "downstate". According to 98% of the world, NYC is the only place worth mentioning in New York and you must count yourself lucky not to have been annexed to Canada.

In conclusion, please remove the giant chip from your shoulder.

Your swift cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Everyone who lives here but wasn't raised here and can see your "red-headed stepchild" complex plain as day.
