How is everyone?
I'm pretty sore. Yesterday I marched in the Seattle Pride parade, wearing boots that I found out too late were a bit too small for me. Didn't stop me from having a great time helping to escort the Flying Spaghetti Monster, though! :)
Afterwards, the Flophouse (Sierra, JJ, and Andrew) accompanied Kat and I to a place called Rob Roy. Excellent drinks! Great tasting nibbles! A smidge overpriced, but all in all, a good place with a bunch of pretty cool people... and they garnish their urinals!!
Didn't get around to heading over to the Pike Place Market, like I wanted to. That'll have to wait for another weekend.
Later, on the way home, we stopped by Zoopa for dinner. I love that place.
The day before, saw Kat and I out at the Taste of Tacoma, then swinging by our favorite book store to pick up a few more books that we don't really have any room for. Oh well, we gotta have our books, so whatcha gonna do, right?
I think I'm liking the tv show
The Gates. Not bad so far, but we'll see. *shrug*
My work has finally approved my requested days of to attend
Seadogs, so I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully the weather will be much better than at All's Faire (all my garb was totally soaked by the rain, but had taken on the wonderful smell of campfire... a bright side to everything, right?).
Still trying to figure out exactly what we're doing for the Fourth of July. Tacoma? Steilacoom? Something else? Suggestions?
My mom has volunteered me to help set-up her friend's (actually a close friend of the family/practically family herself) computer and teach her how to use it. I was successfully bribed with a one terabyte, external hard drive. This ought to be frustrating as all hell.
Anywho, I now return you all to your regularly scheduled programming. :)
