Things are going my way....

Feb 11, 2007 13:06

As the subject suggests, things are beginning to look up for me. As of this weekend, I should be caught up with schoolwork. Finally! I can't count the times that I've begun the semester as scheduled only to fall behind just a little only for that little to turn into the halting of even trying to catch up altogether. I've realized my problem. I give myself too much to do. I've finally realized that there is a limit as to how much I can handle. I want to learn about so many things, but that needs to come one at a time and I have the rest of my life to do this.

Your writings are beautiful.

Now that I'll be caught up with work, I'll be able to fit in some actual work time for moneys. Damn, I need that. As of the 1st of this year, my major financial issues began. 800 fucking dollars I need to get from....somewhere. Who knows? Damn my latent asthma. How does one contract bronchitis anyway? Glad that that's finally gone, I'm left with the financial burdens of being ill in this country. Where's the universal health care already? Shit. Anyway, that's the most of my burdens. I've got some minor ones, the usuals: bills and the care of my four-legged friends. I've decided to do away with the word "pet." How I despise that word. Besides, I didn't get them to rule over them or breed them or anything like that (although it's be cool to continue their legacies in our own, especially the bully). Their presence in my life is all due to no one else wanting them and me wanting to give them a home so they wouldn't be out on the streets making more babies and catching diseases or being shot. Pff. And because the many years before them entering my life, I grew an affinity to the feline kind. One Eye allowed me the pleasure of the canine, and so that's how they entered the picture. I love them all. Pff One Eye. That's not her name. How rude. For now, I shall call her The One with One Eye. Tssss.

Where is that kid?

I have my first test of the semester this Tuesday in my first class of my new major. How exciting. And I really like the instructor! I need to complete the study guide and I should be okay. I need to look up if I need a scantron. There's an essay. I know that. Shouldn't be too bad. I like the book and it's an easy read. Not too difficult to understand the concepts. I also need to work on a discussion for my music class. I hate that the discussions hardly ever really relates to the reading. Poo. We've already passed blues. But oh yes. There were blues after the original LA stuff. Does that stuff really matter? Okay. So I'm not really upset with what we have to address, but that the topic in general doesn't really apply to the reading.

I really like this song. ("Everyday's St. Patrick's Day" by Neck from the Sod'em & Begorrah album

Where is that guy?

I really wish we could talk on normal terms. I really wish I had the chance to get to know the real you. The you you are now. Which is what I presume is the real you 'cause I suppose I never really allowed you to be that. Or at least you felt like you couldn't be. And that sucks. And so I wish I could know who you are now 'cause I always knew there was someone worth my time in you....

Here's another bad ass one. ("The Wind that Shakes the Barley, The Musical Priest, Farewell to Erin" by Culann's Hounds from the Culann's Hounds album)

And Dropkick is right. The Stiff Little Fingers really do kick ass.

Well, gotta go. Remind me next time to update the DMB setlist doc I've got going. Match it up with the Warehouse, will ya!

'Til then....
