(no subject)
Bah, I appear to have pulled a muscle in my back whilst at the gym last night. A gym, I should add, with a sauna that was devoid of hot Polish women :(
Andy and I went to the pub quiz afterwards, where we improved on last week's position (5th of 7) by coming 4th of 9. We should have actually been third, but were robbed of a point by the question "What is the best selling console ever" - apparently it's the Wii. Myself and some other geek remonstrated that this was simply not true, it was the PS2 (136million vs around 50million, should anyone care) but alas the Quizmaster's answer was final.
Good fun though.
Ali is away the next few days; gone back to her parents' place for a funeral. Nobody she was close to, thankfully - a friend's father dropped dead of a coronary, so she's going back to give her some support. I'm planning on doing very little whilst she's away; I was hoping to hit the gym but with my back that might not be such a good idea. So I'll probably default to playing lots of games and reading.
