Still alive! Things here are good, and finally calming down a bit.
After all the fun of the two moves, the wedding and starting work, we were looking forward to chilling a bit. Then my brother and his wife inconsiderately had their baby, meaning a trip over to the West Country was in order last weekend.
Beyond that, work is going really well - incredibly busy, but I'm genuinely enjoying myself. The firm are friendly, the work is varied, and I'm actually getting paid.
I'm shattered by the time I get home; I feed Jess, cook supper and then it's pretty much straight to bed. A bed which is currently a mattress on the floor, as our bed finally gave up the ghost when we moved in. We've got another one on order, but it's going to take 2 weeks to arrive. One plus side is that it's made me glad to hear Jess waking up in the morning; an excuse to get out of bed.
Anyway, I'm well behind on emails and flist stuff. I'm planning on having a big catchup this weekend. Although I'm off to pick up my PS3 tomorrow (along with a PlayTV attachment I've managed to blag on the free).
Is it 9pm? Yup. I think it's bedtime.
